Standing Seam Metal Roofs are an awesomely aesthetic roof that can give both an old tropic house feel or a newer modern look equally well. We use a concealed fastener system which features either vertical or sometimes trapezoidal legs with flat space in between the peaks. The concealed fastener system ensures fasteners are not exposed to the elements which helps to ensure a failure free roof for 50 years or more.
We fabricate our custom metals in-house in our San Luis Obispo metal shop as well as Roll Form the standing seam panels onsite. There are many different widths and seam heights available but the most popular are typically an 18” space and 1-1/2” seam. Tile Roofs
Spanish 2 piece Tile roofs have been installed on the central coast of California since the early 1700s missionaries. They are the quintessential Montecito Spanish style architectural appearance. The old world look provides a certain aesthetic that we specialize in Santa Barbara and Montecito markets. The method we use to hand soak each tile in water and mortar with random boosters and copper twisted wire ties is unmatched and represents a tradition of roofers knowledge passed down for generations in this area. These roofs have been known to last nearly 100 years.
We offer other types of tile options such as Flat Concrete Tile which is a durable and aesthetic option usually found in gray but also available in an assortment of colors, original solvang Dutch tile options. Or S tile which is typically a terra cota colored interlocking tile often found on Spanish architecture like the 2 piece.
Flat Commercial Single Ply Roofs
These are a highly durable and effective roofing membrane which has made the “hot mop tar and gravel roof” obsolete.
